The Bishop's Academy at Most Holy Rosary is a learning institution that enrolls students in pre-kindergarten through grade six. Established in 1915, the academy works for the development of spiritual, physical and academic skills of children. Its academic curriculum includes Spanish, French, physical education, art, music and computer technology. The Bishop's Academy at Most Holy Rosary also offers character education services, as well as organizes parent-teacher meetings and field trips. The academy employs a guidance counselor, physical trainer, language expert, reading specialist, teachers and assistants. Elmcrest Children's Center, located in Syracuse, N.Y., offers a wide variety of programs and services to at-risk families, neglected children, and children and adolescents with social and emotional disorders. Its various residential and community-based programs meet the behavioral and emotional needs of youth. The agency was founded in 1845, and its programs include group emergency foster care, long-term residential treatment, the hard-to-place program, and a special supervision unit. Elmcrest Children's Center also offers agency-operated boarding homes, nonsecure detention, a family support center, and family transitions, focus on families, early education and other educational programs. Its special supervision unit serves 13-to-15-year-old boys, and provides specialized treatment and enhanced supervision, and support to their families.

Incorporated in 1968, P.E.A.C.E. Inc. is a social service organization. Based in Syracuse, N.Y., the organization offers Energy and Housing Services, including insulation of walls, cleaning or replacement of furnaces, weather stripping and other energy saving measures. The community & resource center at P.E.A.C.E. Inc. conducts a range of activities, such as senior nutrition lunches, wellness programs, dancing, card games, day trips, celebrations and more. The organization also operates Early Head Start program that promotes the physical cognitive, social and emotional growth of infants and toddlers.
