Play based, child inspired, teacher framed, Spirit led
Our core values are Christ-likeness, family, and quality education. Our mission as a school is to provide individualized education that allows children to meet their full academic potential with the best possible learning experience. We also place a strong emphasis in involving families at our school, and partnering with them to provide the best possible education for their children. We realize that children are the future, and the most important job of parents and teachers is to shape the values of our children and open up the world and its' possibilities to them. As a small private school, we are able to provide individualized attention and personal involvement with all of our students. We have a unique integrated teaching style. While providing a strong academic foundation, we also provide a huge emphasis on nature, science, and hands on learning. As a Christian school, we are grounded in God's word and values, and believe in teaching the whole person - mind, body, and spirit. At NDCS, we actively learn by the things we do: by experimenting, creating, playing, performing, going on adventures, being outdoors, staying healthy, serving, showing kindness and compassion, taking care of God's creation, and by having fun!
