Our curriculum is intentional and purposeful; developed using the research based Creative Curriculum NAEYC quality criteria, and the TN Early Learning Standards. We are a hands on, inquiry based program. We serve children 6 wks - 5 yrs. of age. Our goal is to develop Vibrant Minds; Healthy Bodies, Caring Hearts and to be a Community of Families. Our Full Time program is open 7 - 5:30 and our Part Time program is 9 - 2:30 optional days.

DLDS is committed to the Tennessee Three Star program. The Three Star Program shows parents and guardians that we are going above and beyond the minimum licensing requirements. In coordination with the Three Star Program, our school is evaluated each year regarding Director Qualifications, Professional Development, Developmental Learning, Parent/Family Involvement, Ration & Group Size, Staff Compensation, and Program Development. Discovery Lane has been a Three Star School every year since 2008.
