It all began over 43 years ago with two newlyweds who were passionate about education. Together, Ms. Rita, a renowned professional educator, and Mr. Hersh, a natural teacher and entrepreneur, created a child care education program that focused on the concept of self-inspired learning. They created an educational system where children were not taught directly, but were instead given the skills to learn for the rest of their lives. They believed that the child should enjoy the learning process, and that the learning environment should adjust to the needs of the child. Their experience has helped them realize a vision that is extraordinary and unique.
We are a Mother's Day Out program that operates during the Pearland ISD school year. We are a state licensed, Christian based program that has been in Pearland for 30+ years. We are not a fulltime daycare, but we offer caregivers 5 hours a day to grocery shop in peace, go to the doctor, have lunch/coffee with a friend, binge a tv show, get housework done, or even take a nap. Your child will have the opportunity to learn about Jesus, socialize with other kids, learn social skills and independence, and play, play, play!

Tiny Explorers Preschool is a boutique half-day preschool for children ages 3–4 located in the Southbelt/Sagemont area of Houston. Our small-group program combines outdoor exploration, hands-on learning, and play-based experiences in a calm and nurturing environment. Children learn through discovery in our Build Zone, Sensory Zone, Movement Zone, classroom learning centers, stories, art, science, and nature exploration. We focus on helping children build confidence, independence, social skills, and a love of learning through meaningful experiences and gentle guidance. At Tiny Explorers, we believe childhood should be filled with curiosity, creativity, movement, and opportunities to explore the world around us.
