Seed of Life provides an academically enriched curriculum and environment through play that supports and creates a multi-cultural, multi-lingual community. We strive to provide a safe learning environment and atmosphere that is committed to diversity, social responsibility, and empowering competent life long learners. SOL is a multi-cultural and multi-lingual program that services children from 1 m. - 12 yrs. We have two locations that offer Childcare, Preschool, Pre-k, B & A childcare.
School Age Program Whittier Kids School Age Program offers before and after school childcare on site at Whittier Elementary. Through child-centered experiential learning and play we bolster education, promote new ways of learning, and allow kids to develop social skills in a safe environment. Preschool Program Whittier Kids Preschool is a mixed age, play-based, community preschool and pre-kindergarten program at Whittier elementary for 3-5 year olds. We offer a variety of schedules including half and full day classes. We use play as a natural teaching tool to make learning fun and relevant for our community of young learners. Our goal is to create an intrinsic love of learning that will serve as the foundation for success in school and in life. Summer Camps - Preschool and School Age
Kids' Club
We open our doors at 7AM sharp and a breakfast snack is served from 7:00-8:00AM daily. Our morning program provides a safe and friendly environment in which to make the transition from home to school. From the family-style breakfast to the variety of activities, including getting kids outside and to the gym, we pride ourselves on getting young minds and bodies ready for the school day ahead. Our educated staff is skilled at creating an environment that supports kids during the morning hours. Kids' Club's after-school programming is designed with the kids' age and skill levels in mind. This year, the kids are separated by grade level into three programs: Kindergarten, 1st-2nd, 3rd-5th. Under our care, your children are given time for self-direction, free-play, and group experiences. They are invited to participate in indoor and outdoor games, cooking, arts and crafts, drama, music, and science. An afternoon snack is served at 2:25pm and later for kids arriving from other schools. We close at 5:30pm each evening.
