Hi, I’m Alex! I have over 10 years of experience working with students of all ages, from kindergarten through high school, and I’m passionate about helping every child build confidence and succeed academically. My background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science with a minor in Psychology, as well as an MBA in Finance, giving me a strong foundation in both STEM subjects and critical thinking. Throughout my decade of teaching career, I’ve taught mathematics, science, engineering, and physics in classroom settings, while also providing individualized tutoring in subjects ranging from elementary math and reading to Algebra, Geometry, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and standardized test preparation. I am data driven and create customized plans for students based on their current level and future needs. All data is shared with parents to work together to monitor student progress. My approach to tutoring is centered around patience, encouragement, and adapting lessons to each student’s unique learning style. Whether a student needs help mastering foundational skills, catching up after falling behind, preparing for a challenging exam, or simply gaining confidence in the classroom, I strive to create a supportive environment where learning feels engaging and achievable. I believe that every student is capable of growth with the right guidance, and nothing is more rewarding than seeing a student realize their own potential.
