Positive Tutors is on a mission to make tutoring an enjoyable experience. Our approach is unique, offering a blend of academic excellence & personal attention in each 1-on-1 lesson. We know that every student is different, so we include a 4-day trial where your student can try sessions with a few different tutors to find the right fit. During the trial, our initial assessment allows us to understand your child's current level of knowledge so we can pinpoint any areas that need improvement and create a customized tutoring plan. Unlike other tutors, our service is affordable, structured & reliable, ensuring a consistent & quality learning experience. Visit our website to learn more about our math tutoring, English tutoring, & more. At Positive Tutors, your monthly plan allows you to book classes with a flexible schedule. Each plan can be used for one or multiple kids, & it can be used for one or multiple subjects. Our curriculum is meticulously designed by certified teachers and subject experts, focusing on the unique needs of each student, ensuring that learning is not just effective but also engaging and relevant. Choose Positive Tutors for an educational experience that goes beyond traditional tutoring, customizing your child's experience & shaping young minds for future success.

Hi, I’m Alex! I have over 10 years of experience working with students of all ages, from kindergarten through high school, and I’m passionate about helping every child build confidence and succeed academically. My background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science with a minor in Psychology, as well as an MBA in Finance, giving me a strong foundation in both STEM subjects and critical thinking. Throughout my decade of teaching career, I’ve taught mathematics, science, engineering, and physics in classroom settings, while also providing individualized tutoring in subjects ranging from elementary math and reading to Algebra, Geometry, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and standardized test preparation. I am data driven and create customized plans for students based on their current level and future needs. All data is shared with parents to work together to monitor student progress. My approach to tutoring is centered around patience, encouragement, and adapting lessons to each student’s unique learning style. Whether a student needs help mastering foundational skills, catching up after falling behind, preparing for a challenging exam, or simply gaining confidence in the classroom, I strive to create a supportive environment where learning feels engaging and achievable. I believe that every student is capable of growth with the right guidance, and nothing is more rewarding than seeing a student realize their own potential.
