Kumon of Fremont - Warm Springs is part of the world's largest after-school math & reading program, helping children of all ages become self-learners.
Chemistry tutoring from a Ph.D. chemist who has already taught the college course your student is heading toward. Dr. Navneet Sahota holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington and an M.S. in Organic Chemistry from Illinois State University, and has taught university chemistry for close to a decade, including nearly four years as an Associate Instructor at Indiana University. Subjects covered are AP Chemistry, Honors and regular high school chemistry, college general chemistry and pre-med prerequisites, plus biology and earth science. One-on-one tutoring is $200 per 60-minute hour, in person around Fremont or online nationwide. Semester group classes meet in Fremont for 90 minutes once a week through the school semester: Honors and college-prep classes run 4 to 8 students at $75 per student per session, and AP Chemistry classes are kept to 2 to 4 students at $110 per student per session. The group classes run alongside your student's school course rather than after a bad grade. The point is walking into each unit test having already worked the hard problems once. Students come from Mission San Jose, American, Irvington, Washington, Milpitas, James Logan, Monta Vista and Gunn, and are grouped by course and level rather than by school.
