South San Francisco Adult Education is an adult school that offers programs in fine arts, community education, and career and technical education. It offer the English as a Second Language program that includes basic understanding and practical application of speaking, reading and writing English for non-English speaking students. The school additionally offers the Head Start program for students between the ages of 3 and 5 and their families. South San Francisco Adult Education offers a program in foreign languages that includes instruction in Spanish and Italian. In addition, it organizes golf tournaments, job search workshops and vocational training programs. Jefferson Adult has moved to a brand new building located at 123 Edgemont Drive near Westmoor High School in Daly City, CA. We offer English language studies for speakers of other languages. We also offer high school equivalency preparation for either GED or HiSET. Students may also take Basic Computing Courses, or for-credit IT Training (in conjunction with Skyline College).
