Miss Darlyn's Academy is a one on one mobile tutoring service. During the pandemic I knew I wanted to use my degree and help children outside the classroom. At Miss Darlyn’s Academy we teach and tutor students as young as 2 years old and students in high school. We teach anywhere from letter recognition, letter sounds, sight words, mathematics, science of all levels and Spanish. Our goal at Miss Darlyn's Academy is not only to help your child academically but also to strengthen and build that foundation to make learning such an enjoyable time in their life. We're here to gain that confidence back into your child and master those skills we need help with. In order to make the learning successful, we first do an assessment and create academic goals and sit down with you and see where you feel that we need to work on. Go over last years report card and struggles and together come with with academic goals. Miss Darlyn’s Academy provides all the workbooks, lessons and materials. Four Square Learning Centers is a facility that is designed strategically to help students K-8th learn more effectively based on Common Core Standards. We utilize our teaching methods to enhance the child's learning, while keeping the content challenging and fun. Each individualized center will serve as a key component to enhance student learning. Our learning system is built to accommodate visual learners, auditory learners, tactile learners, and independent learners. We use reinforcement strategies through intention-focused practice to build ownership and responsibility. This segment is followed by an extensive evaluation to give you and your child constructive feedback to help them wherever they need improvement and affirmation. One of the greatest benefits your child will receive here at our learning center is that we actively communicate with their current homeroom teacher on a bi-weekly basis.
