At Exponential Tutoring, we work with students one-on-one because no two students learn the same way. We tutor middle school, high school, and college students in math, science, test prep, and study skills, both in person in Ventura and online. A lot of students come to us thinking they are bad at math or that they just can't learn it. Usually, that's not the problem. Sometimes they missed something along the way. Sometimes the way it was taught just didn't make sense to them. And sometimes they have been struggling for so long that they have stopped believing they can do it. We figure out where the problem actually is and go from there. There isn't one method that works for every student, and we don't expect students to change who they are in order to learn. Of course we want students to improve their grades and test scores. But we also want them to understand what they're doing, become more confident, and eventually need less help from us, not more.
