Our mission is to improve the quality of life in our community by promoting and achieving literacy. Since 1989, through extensive outreach and collaboration with a network of community partners, the Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County has been dedicated to ensuring that individuals in Palm Beach County receive the help they need to improve their literacy skills. We continue to help 64,464 adults, children, youth and families through our programs to acquire literacy skills to be successful in school and in life. Community members support literacy by volunteering as reading tutors, making donations, organizing book drives, attending literacy events and participating in literacy initiatives such as the "Read for the Record" and "Read Together Palm Beach County" campaign, an one book, one community initiative.
