Hi! I’m Parmita, a current university student and working professional offering personalized tutoring in Ann Arbor and online. I have tutored 40+ students of different ages and backgrounds through private, school, volunteer, in-person, and online settings. I also spent 200+ hours volunteering with FORA, teaching English, math, and science to refugee students. I’ve worked one-on-one with students struggling with or failing coursework, helping them break down difficult concepts, practice effectively, and build confidence. I tutor mathematics and statistics, test prep and study skills, computer science, French, photography, and college essays. I can help with advanced math, programming with Python, Java, R, and SAS, French grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and conversation, photography fundamentals, and college essay brainstorming, outlining, and revision. As a current university student, I bring a current and relatable perspective to tutoring. I have earned Coursera certificates through courses offered by the University of Michigan and Universiteit Leiden and have studied AP Statistics and AP French.
