Northwest Reading Clinic is a diagnostic center specializing in diagnosing and treating reading, spelling, comprehension difficulties, and dyslexia. We also develop visual memory for letters, sight word recognition, vocabulary, writing, math, and study skills. Following a through diagnostic testing and evaluation, students attend daily sessions for one-on-one treatment with experienced, well-trained clinicians. Gracey Tile Club PDX teaches American Mahjong to beginners and returning players across Portland and SW Washington. It grew out of a neighborhood book club, and that welcoming, social feel carries into every class. Mahjong 101 covers the tiles, the Charleston, and how to read the National Mah Jongg League card, with the official card included, so new players can sit down and play a full game. Weekly Open Play gives students a relaxed place to practice, and private lessons and parties bring the game to birthdays, girls' nights, and team gatherings. All lessons are booked in advance.
