Page and Pen Academy offers one-on-one tutoring and online courses in analytical reading and writing, founded and taught by a retired Pennsylvania English teacher with 27 years of high school classroom experience. I tutor middle and high school students in the Lehigh Valley and online. I help students with essay writing, close reading of literature, grammar and sentence structure, and test prep. I’ve taught students at every level, including many with learning differences, so I adjust my approach to how each student actually learns. My teaching is built on the idea that reading and writing are one skill. Students learn to read closely, think clearly about what they’ve read, and write about it with confidence.
