JM Education offers an intensive study of English through strategies to expand vocabulary, engage in critical reading, and improve written expression in the English Language by a certified English teacher in both English and English as a Second Language. Classes are held via Zoom, Google Meets or similar meeting spaces with classroom features. Students will be provided with course materials, weekly homework assignments, progress reports, and class recordings each week. Classes will run on weekends and evenings. Each class will host a small group of students with a maximum capacity of 4 students in one session. Students may elect to take a course twice per week for 4 weeks or once per week for 8 weeks. The Learning Center, working together with parents, volunteers, community organizations and schools, will help neighborhood residents overcome barriers to success.
