I love teaching piano! I have over forty years experience. I like to make the learning experience fun and interesting. I am also a composer and this is a quote from several of my students... "Do we have to do the lesson book? Your music is more fun!" Voluntary activities are three community service performances, one competition, and one recital per year. For our Fall Pageant, my students and I wear costumes that correlate with the piece being performed. Although I want it to be fun, I am very firm about my students being able to recognize the letter names of the notes and counting rhythms. It is my goal to get my students to the musically advanced stage. That is a victory for both my student and me!
