Fusion Math specializes in Math, Science, and English Tutoring as well as TEST PREP such SAT, ACT, ISEE, SSAT. We offer One to One Tutoring in a math-centric center with many whiteboards. During the academic year, we offer Drop-In Tutoring on Sundays from 4:30pm to 8:30pm. We focus heavily on math fundamentals and number theory while teaching to ensure a strong foundation in math. Knowing how to Square 57 or multiply 24 and 36 without a calculator is also a huge boost in a student's confidence!
I founded Kids With an Edge as a friendly tutoring center with a personal touch. I am a mom of 3 unique individuals. But one thing they had in common was the need for a nurturing environment where they not only learned new skills but also grew in confidence and enjoyed the journey. We serve children Ages 4-18 in Math, Reading, Science and Coding. We offer 1:1 as well as small group and our programs allow students to get ahead, stay current or go back and fill in the gaps. We offer in-person and online sessions. We are experienced with HCC/gifted learners. Children are naturally social/active learners. All of our sessions are highly interactive and engaging - designed to make learning fun! Quietly working on worksheets can always be done independently... Drop in centers may seem convenient, but having different tutors can be confusing/inefficient. Our dedicated tutor understands your child's personality/learning style and believes in their potential! Parents have often said that children see our tutors as mentors/role models! The Early Edge (Ages 4-6) is a uniquely powerful and fun program that focuses on Reading, Writing and Math. Through the Tech Edge, we offer coding and web design. These classes are nothing like the typical haphazard after school classes with very little structured instruction. Programming requires learning a new language and that requires strong fundamentals and systematic learning. Our classes are fun, kid-centric and effective.
