Precision Environmental was founded in Stanford University in 1982, with the purpose of providing environmental contracting services to clients with asbestos contamination problems. As one of the first environmental companies in the state of California, Precision facilitated efforts with government agencies and media to educate the public regarding asbestos hazards.
