ACRT, or Appraisal, Consulting, Research and Training, is an international consulting service and training organization in the utility and urban forestry, arboricultural, environmental, natural resource, biological, and horticultural sciences. Established in 1985, ACRT's utility services division provides contract foresters, tree and brush control operations preplanners, and maintenance inspectors to more than 100 electric utilities throughout the United States. Through the U.S. Forest Service's Job Corps, Workforce Investment Act, Conservation Corps and the Welfare to Work, the company has trained more than 10,000 tree trimmers.
