monOrchid is a wonderful entertainment venue located in a culturally rich region of the city of Phoenix. Some of the best, albeit, unknown artists from the surrounding area get to display their works in the gallery every month. This is also the venue of choice for many private events, ranging from business events to weddings. In keeping with the artistic theme, monOrchid is also home to many workshops and seminars.
Saturdays from October through May find local artists and craftsmen in Murphy Park in the heart of downtown Glendale's historic district. Items are exhibited and sold at this popular local event at booths, along the park's sidewalks. Find gifts and treasures galore, many of the choices are handcrafted. Admission is free, as is the parking and trolley rides. While you are in Glendale, there are worthwhile specialty and antique shops to visit, including the Dusty Attic Boutique.
