Founded in 1983 and located in San Jose, Calif., San Jose Stage Company is a professional theatre company that organizes various live entertainment events. It produces more than five plays per season and serves over 25,000 patrons. The company also offers professional box office services for various performing arts organizations. Its hosts post-show discussions for the public. San Jose Stage Company operates Actors's Lab, which provides outreach and training programs in the areas of music, dance and dramatics. It also participates in Arts Express, which is a program that includes special weekday performances and plays for students. The company also hosts various fundraising events, as well as organizes educational workshops.

By providing high-quality and affordable theatrical experiences and educational programs, we reach a diverse audience and build a new generation of theatregoers. Inspire We create art that touches people on a personal level, is a reflection of the world in which we live, and inspires people to play a role in the arts community as an artist, audience member, donor, or volunteer. Our Core Programs Shakespeare and classics-inspired productions in Sanborn Park, where we produce 22 ticketed performances of two plays each summer. Shakespeare in San José, where we produce 13 performances free to the public in Willow Street Park. An education program that features a summer camp for kids, workshops and assemblies to over 2,000 students in local schools, and an internship program for college students to achieve professional development training. A partnership with the San José State University Department of Radio, Television, Film and Theatre, where we co-produce one full-scale production and a 48-Hour Play Festival.

Designed to stimulate the imagination, enlighten the mind and entertain the spirit, we are committed to presenting thought-provoking, extraordinary theatre, which we hope will play a crucial role in the development of lifelong learners. the children's Theatre continues to be a leader in offering young people not only fun but also grwowth and empowerment. Through exposure (attending plays) and immersion (taking classes, being in a production), our interest-based arts education classes in music, dance, and theatre offer a safe and creative place where children and youth can develop theatre and social skills. TnT Circus
Our goal is to meet each student at the level they are ready to learn at. We create a supportive and inclusive environment to learn and practice circus arts. We teach floor, partner, and group acrobatics, poi, plate spinning, juggling props, ball walking, and aerial silks!
