One of St. Pete's distinguished downtown night venues, Jannus Live features a variety of rock, alternative and Western musical performers. Dress casually, sit in the open air and order from a full bar while nibbling light fare from the small menu. Jannus Live is not large, but actually seeing the show is not always easy; there are benches to stand on to see over other people. The Green Room nightclub draws the crowds when no acts are performing at the courtyard.
An auditorium, an arena and the Potter building are all part of Sarasota Fairgrounds making it an ideal venue to rent for small or large scale events. Large events like trade fairs, concerts, sporting events or craft fairs with up to 5000 persons can visit the fairgrounds and it can be rented for weddings or family gatherings.
