This 19th-century barn has been transformed into a non-profit venue for concerts and art shows in Fitchburg. The venue is simple enough with bales of straw in lieu of formal seating. Art in the Barn hosts concerts featuring local and international musicians and bands, alongside art exhibitions that showcase local artists. Although folk, gypsy and pop are the prevalent genres, Art in the Barn offers a line-up that is as eclectic as the audience itself. Tickets are usually limited, so make sure you purchase your tickets well in advance to avoid disappointment. Feel free to bring along your own chairs. You can also enjoy a picnic outside on the lawn before the show.
