The neo-Gothic structure in downtown Duluth is an unusual place to listen to live music. Built in 1896 to house the Sacred Heart Church, the building was saved from demolition by a group of volunteers and was converted into a cultural center in 2007. Today, the acoustically-perfect hall of the church retains the original architectural features like stained glass windows and the pipe organ, and hosts concerts by regional as well as international musicians.
