Amigos De Bolsa Chica

For over 30 years, Amigos de Bolsa Chica has provided private and public docent-led walking tours of the wetlands. We also provide offsite programs such as FLOW (Follow and Learn about the Ocean and Wetlands) for schools, clubs, tourists, and other organizations. Program participants can learn how to monitor water quality in the wetland and ocean. Our annual docent training program is an extensive program for individuals interested in leading tours or learning more about the Bolsa Chica wetlands. Our tours are made possible through our volunteer docents and we welcome applicants year round. Please contact us if you'd like to participate in our tours, get involved with FLOW as a citizen scientist, or become a docent.
