Transportation Service, also known as TRIPS, is a program that includes services for senior citizens with developmental disabilities in Irvine in California. The program has a registration processing period of up to 90 days for solutions that include grocery shopping and medical appointments. It also includes shuttle services. Transportation Service includes door-to-door transportation solutions, also well as has a fleet of wheelchair-accessible vehicles. It is a part of the Community Services Department, which is governed by the city of Irvine in California. The city also manages community development, public safety, purchasing, building inspection, engineering, public recognition and public works departments.
