Del Norte Child Care is a Spanish-English home day care for children from ages newborn to 6 years old. We are open from 7:30 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday, and offer full-time, part-time and hourly rate options. At Del Norte, we are committed to your child's need to develop in a warm, loving, nurturing environment. Your child will be given love and attention, and will learn to share and participate in activities and develop social relationships. Having infants interact with older children is a great way to help infants develop motor skills, language development and social skills. We provide each child with age-appropriate activities. We teach the following: Good eating habits and social manners School time: ABCs, numbers, colors, shapes, music and games Arts and crafts: Drawing, coloring, painting, cutting and gluing Basic Spanish language Music appreciation Every day, we speak English and Spanish with the children. During our daily Spanish lesson, they learn how to say and write their ABCs, numbers, colors and simple words and phrases. Books, toys and arts and crafts materials are available to allow the children to use their imagination and skills. At the same time, they learn to be independent and have confidence in themselves. Outdoor activities in a nice, safe environment — fun and games, individual play, walks, short field trips to the park — are included daily.

Grace Children's Academy's program is based on the Reggio Emilia approach. It is play-based, child centered and uses experiential learning in a gentle, mindfulness, creative and relationship-driven environment. The approach is based on the principles of respect, responsibility, and community. Children form their own personality during the early years of development and are endowed with "a hundred languages", through which they can express their ideas. The aim of the Reggio approach is to teach how to use these symbolic languages (e.g., painting, sculpting, drama) in everyday life thus the child learns that the world is a lab and their ability to learn and connect is limitless.
We are a day care and preschool servicing children ages 4 months to 5 years old.
