Voted myBurbank's BEST Preschool — 4 Years Running! We believe childhood should be full of wonder, play, and joy — and that's exactly what we bring to every single day. As a developmental, play-based preschool, we nurture the whole child in a loving environment where little ones feel safe to explore, grow, and shine. Our low teacher-to-student ratio means every child is truly seen, known, and celebrated. Our Transitional Kindergarten is thoughtfully designed to meet kids right where they are — building the skills and confidence they need for kindergarten in a way that feels natural and fun. We're now welcoming families for Fall enrollment! Come grow with us through Yoga, Cooking, Dance, Music, Amazing Athletes, Science, Gardening, Art, and so much more. We can't wait to meet your little one. Follow us on Instagram @our_village_preschool
Your child's day will be filled with inquiry and learning through play using learning centers focusing on whole child development. All learning experiences are enhanced by songs and chants that build solid foundations and will support learning through the years. Students also learn how to work with others, growing skills in friend-making, conflict resolution, and conversation. Children are supported and taught by caring staff who strive to move children forward in all areas of development.
Media Center Montessori Pre-Schools are privately owned facilities, dedicated to nurturing the whole child, and enabling them to create within themselves the joy and love of learning. We are committed to our goal of helping each child to realize his/her fullest potential, and to best achieve this, we use the Montessori approach to education. Our classrooms provide an environment prepared to meet and respond to a child's needs, interests, abilities, and possibilities. The wide variety of materials and our Montessori trained staff allows for each child to work at their own pace, in groups of no more than 12 children per teacher. The Montessori curriculum also includes the sciences, geography, history, multicultural studies, arts and crafts, music and movement, and drama. Our teachers closely observe each child and include specific activities that will enhance concentration, communication skills, and creativity. During the summer months, we offer a special Summer Camp Program, with weekly field trips, in-house entertainment, and plenty of fun keeping out of the sun!
