We have so much fun learning and playing in our big magical backyard using Alpha Friends and Handwriting without tears. We review our letters, the sounds they make, numbers, shapes, + colors, the pledge of allegiance, the weather, calendar and a ton of fun songs everyday. We do a themed craft and activity everyday Petite Class Size: 14 children max Minimum of 2 teachers at all times. Usually 3-4 Circle Time: early childhood educational group times including interactive stories, science, math, reading, calendar, pledge of allegiance, letter of the week, etc. (summer is less academic and more silly and fun) Music: educational and engaging group time. Introduction to instruments, instrument families, and music vocabulary. Art: we will create fun masterpieces using paint brushes, plants, and other creative objects. Hands on art making projects and much more. We have a daily craft and activity related to the theme of the week Physical Education: Energetic activities develop and enhance fine/gross motor and activity levels in children. I began providing childcare services in 2003 when my neighbor asked me to care for her infant following the conclusion of her maternity leave. I fell in love with taking care of children and over time, through only word of mouth, I became a full service and licensed daycare provider. I care for the children in my daycare as if they were my own. What separates my child care from others, is my goal to prepare children for kindergarten. I pride myself on my love and ability to teach children. While in my care, children will learn to write, draw, their colors, shapes, etc. Every day in my care involves a new activity or project that is fun and engaging.
