Providence Montessori is a home-based Montessori school dedicated to providing a nurturing and enriching learning environment for young children. Located in a peaceful residential setting, our school offers a unique blend of indoor and outdoor classrooms that support hands-on, child-led exploration and learning in accordance with the Montessori philosophy. Our thoughtfully prepared indoor space encourages independence, concentration, and a love of learning through carefully selected materials and activities tailored to each child’s developmental stage. Complementing this is our spacious outdoor classroom, where children engage with nature, develop gross motor skills, and explore science and the environment through open-ended play and guided discovery. With small class sizes and personalized attention, Providence Montessori creates a warm, supportive atmosphere where children feel respected, confident, and curious. We are committed to fostering the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical development of every child, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
We offer Infant & Toddler Care, Preschool, and Pre-K education for children ages 6 weeks through 5 years. Our family-oriented atmosphere welcomes each child into our close-knit group and offers them the chance to learn and grow with us! We are a group of educators providing children with the love and service absent in other schools. For us, the purpose of learning and development is more than acquiring knowledge. From infancy to age 5, we provide our Stars with the mental tools needed to master their own physical, cognitive, and emotional behaviors. They will use these same mental tools to excel in their future academic and personal lives. We have adopted the best practices from Reggio-inspired, Montessori, and Waldorf schools to build a foundation of learning for the world's future innovators of the 21st century. We're more than a great school. We strive for excellence.
