We are an Established privately owned preschool with a ratio of 1:8 for two-year-olds and 1:12 for three-year-olds through six -year-olds. Our ratio of children per teacher is lower than the California State requirement. We also offer a broader scope of learning than most preschools. We have an exemplary academic program. We excite young learners with a fun and entertaining way of teaching.
The Montessori environment gives each child the opportunity to develop their academic skills as rapidly as their interests and abilities allow. Each child learns at their own pace. In addition to their academic skills, we are also concerned about the character of the child. The five areas of Montessori at Bright Star Montessori are aiming to develop order, concentration, coordination and independence: Practical Life Sensorial Language Mathematics Cultural & Science The additional programs are provided in the afternoon, including: Art Class Foreign Languages Class Cooking Class Computer Class Bright Star Montessori has lovingly nurtured students for many years in the city of Walnut and now excited to expand and share our same quality and philosophy in the city of Ontario.
