Lovely Bees Child Care is a small Russian-English-Ukrainian bilingual family daycare in Thousand Oaks for infants, toddlers and preschool-age children from 6 months to 4 years old. We combine the warmth and individual attention of a home daycare with a thoughtful, development-focused early childhood program. Children learn through play, nature and hands-on experiences. Our days include outdoor play, nature exploration, sensory activities, art, music, books, early science and discovery activities, problem-solving, language development, fine and gross motor activities, and creative learning. Our spacious outdoor area gives children plenty of opportunities to move, explore and spend time in nature. We support cognitive, social-emotional and language development while building independence, confidence, communication skills and preschool readiness. Children are introduced to early concepts such as colors, shapes, numbers, vocabulary, memory, attention and age-appropriate problem-solving. We provide homemade meals and snacks prepared with care and maintain healthy daily routines. Our small-group environment allows us to give children individualized attention and adapt activities to their developmental stage. We offer Russian-, Ukrainian- and English-language exposure and welcome children from families of all backgrounds. Children do not need to speak Russian or Ukrainian to attend. Our goal is a warm, safe and engaging environment where children can learn, play, explore nature.
