Parents shape Knight Hall School in many ways. On any average day, you may see some in the classrooms sharing a favorite activity or a snack, while others find time to help repair a light fixture or install new doors. Interested parents help shape the school's direction by serving on the school's parent-run board of directors. Knight Hall School was the first nursery school in Hartford. Started as a convenience to missionary families at the Hartford Seminary in 1927, it filled a need for area families who flocked to it for its high-quality education and dedication to support of individual children and families.
