A unique day care that provides the stimulating curriculum of a center in the comfort of a warm, nurturing home environment. In business since 1988. Program is for children 18 months and older. Open year round Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. We provide group activities as well as individual activities. We take field trips in connection with our monthly curriculum. Some examples of field trips are Story Time, Tumble Jungle, Music class, Fire Station, Police Station, Nature Centers, Zoo. Low teacher/child ratio. CDA recipient, Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Member of National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), Member of National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC), Member of All Our Kin (Norwalk/Stamford area). Infant/child CPR/First Aid certified, medication administration training certified. Receive on-going training to enhance knowledge of early childhood education practices.
Tiny Steps is a home daycare licensed by the town of Norwalk, CT where we love and take care of infants from 2 months to 5 year old toddlers, including children from the Department of Children & Families (DCF) & Care4Kids. We offer a clean and pleasant environment where children value the importance of growing, learning, and playing together as one.
