St. Andrew's United Methodist Church is a community-driven, Christ-oriented congregation. It holds weekly traditional services as well as a contemporary kind to suit a diverse group of members. Their engaging worship and fellowship are focused on the teachings of Jesus Christ while making a difference in the community. The church organizes interactive programs, activities and social groups for children, students and adults alike.
Founded in 1968, Kingswood Elementary School offers a range of educational and extracurricular programs for students from kindergarten through grade five. It offers courses in reading, writing, mathematics and science. The school also offers special services to more than 25 children with disabilities. Additionally, the school offers morning and afternoon meals that include milk, juices, salads, cookies, rolls, cereals and fruits. The school has an enrollment of over 550 students and is located in Brandon, Fla. Kingswood Elementary School is a part of Hillsborough County Public Schools, which operates over 200 educational facilities. The district also manages nearly 70 charter and early child care centers. It educates more than 200,000 students and employs over 15,000 teachers.
