Space Coast Discovery, previously Space Coast Early Intervention Center, has the purpose of the education of children with and without disabilities in an inclusion environment. We believe that every child of every ability deserves individualized instruction and benefits from inclusive classroom environments. Our inclusion program provides equal learning opportunities for all children, to ensure they receive the academic and social skills needed to succeed in life. Large classroom spaces, small student-to-teacher ratios, access to therapists and handicap accessible equipment are integrated to create individualized plans for each child to best fit his/her educational need. Typically developing and gifted students act as "Role Models" for those with disabilities and each child is able to learn at his/her own pace with unique goals based on individual abilities. Our students include typically developing and gifted students as well as those with Down Syndrome, ASD (Autism), Processing Disorders, etc. These children range from 6 weeks to 4th grade.
We make early education and daycare joyful, engaging, and fun for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children! Since 2002, The Learning Experience has been positively impacting the lives of children ages six weeks to six years by developing and implementing ground-breaking childcare and early education programs. Our proprietary curriculum encourages children to learn in their favorite way: by exploring and doing. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers. The Learning Experience curriculum is created to meet or exceed nationwide standards and its all-inclusive - with all curriculum programs and enrichment programs like music, engineering and fitness, offered at no additional charge.
