TCC offers programs for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and pre-kindergarten children ranging from ages 3 months to 5 years. We are located in the Massachusetts State Transportation Building. Families can choose between full-time and part-time programs. For 39 years, we have operated as a child-centered facility with a multicultural environment. We have a fenced-in rooftop play space, on-site drop-off parking is available for parents’ convenience, and our facility is accessible by MBTA. All teachers are professionally qualified and trained. The center is proud of its excellent teacher-child ratios which includes 3 full time teachers in each classroom and we utilize Northeastern COOP students as teacher assistant floats. We also provide a hands-on curriculum. Tuition rates are affordable, and the location is near the Public Garden. The facility is licensed by the EEC (license #9129425) and is open to both the general public and state employees.
At Sunshine we provide age and developmentally-appropriate programs to meet the social, physical, emotional, intellectual, and growth needs of each child. Sunshine offers childcare for three age groups. Different curriculum is designed for each age group. All programs are staffed with bi-lingual teachers speaking English and Chinese(Mandarin).
Our Future Learning Center is an academically rigorous yet highly nurturing preschool for infants through kindergarten-aged children. The Commonwealth Children's Center is a private, nonprofit, non-affiliated, early childhood educational program that is open to the general public and gives priority of enrollment slots to state employees. CCC serves children ages 3 months to 5 years and their families. We believe in emergent curriculum, where activities are based on the children's interests. Our curriculum is designed to foster the continued development of each individual child's cognitive, physical, social and emotional growth through hands-on, active exploration, experimentation, and creative expression.
