Since 1966, Shady Lane School has set the standard for high-quality early childhood education in Pittsburgh. Now serving over 130 children ages 2 through kindergarten entry in 10 classrooms, Shady Lane School is located at the intersection of several East End neighborhoods. Throughout our history, we have been dedicated to consistent, informed use of developmentally appropriate practices and development of a diverse community of children, families and educators.
