We just opened a family home child care that caters children ages 12 months to 5 years old, in Queen Anne. Our schedule is pretty flexible, we have full time and part time options. Little Trailblazers values a child-centered play-based program enriched by our warm, home-like, and nurturing environment. We follow a theme-based program that provides developmentally appropriate activities which targets all the domains of development (Biosocial, Cognitive, and Socio-Emotional). We believe that each child can grow and develop at their own pace through exploration and interaction; both inside and outside the day care. Our goal is to help children develop a positive self-image, a sense of responsibility and independence through positive guidance and unconditional acceptance supported by a good relationship between parents and staff.
The particular needs of each child and each family are our priority. We strive to maintain an atmosphere of emotional trust and a respect of open communication. At the same time, we provide a physical environment in which cognitive, physical and social development are all richly interwoven. This is made possible by a staff of teachers that comprise our greatest asset. We are committed to the idea of parental involvement and have made available a range of possibilities for such involvement. Parents are encouraged to voice their ideas and concerns and to participate directly in the life and health of our schools. Beginnings Schools are cooperative early learning programs.

Seattle Learning Center- Montlake has the following openings available: -Toddler / Preschool Class (18 months old by September 2019) -Toddler / Preschool Class (24 months old by September 2019) -Infant Class (3+ months old) The Montlake location serves children ages 3 months to 3 years old (and until 5 years old starting September 2020)
