Founded in 1989, the Asian Youth Center (AYC) exists to empower low-income, immigrant, and at-risk youth and families, of all communities, to overcome barriers to success through the provision of culturally and linguistically competent education, employment, and social services. We help youth succeed in school, at work, and in life!

The West San Gabriel Valley YMCA offers various health and fitness and community development programs. It offers a variety of sports activities, such as basketball, swimming and weightlifting. The organization features a conditioning room that is equipped with cardiovascular equipment, recumbent and upright bikes, ellipticals and treadmills. The West San Gabriel Valley YMCA also offers an aquatic program for people suffering with arthritis. It conducts yoga, water exercises, aerobics and muscle conditioning classes. The organization provides several after-school programs that include homework assistance, tutoring sessions, games, arts and crafts, snacks and recreational activities.
