Child & Family Services has been enhancing the lives of thousands of people in the Greater New Bedford area since 1843. We help children, adults, and families deal with tough times and struggles they face. We offer more than 20 programs and serve more than 13,000 people each year in Fall River, Hyannis, Lawrence and New Bedford.As the years pass, we continue to evolve and develop along with the community ever-changing needs. Last year, we helped over 13,000 people with personal and family issues by providing professional and community training, and offering programs and services that reflect the current needs of our communities.
Located on the beautiful Mattapoisett Harbor, the Mattapoisett YMCA offers a wide range of programming for all ages. With a quarter mile of beach front, our unique location allows our Summer Day Camp to provide activities that will challenge your children and help them to grow and excel. In addition to Summer Day Camp, the Mattapoisett YMCA offers year-round programming for preschool, school aged youth, adults and families that focus on our values for youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
