East End Community Services, located in Dayton, Ohio, is a nonprofit organization. The mission of Miami Valley Youth Career Services is To utilize high quality staff to provide the highest quality of service with proven models which enhance the potential of young people to be successful in school, at home, in the workplace and in the community. JOG-Miami Valley, doing business as Miami Valley Youth Career Services ( MVYCS ), is a 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) non-profit organization that is an affiliate of Jobs for Cincinnati Graduates, and Jobs for Ohio's Graduates ( JOG ). Both programs utilize the Jobs for America's Graduates ( JAG ) comprehensive School-to-Careers transition model, the largest and longest-running program of its kind. JAG programs provide youth with guidance and support through graduation and into entry-level employment with advancement potential or into full-time college or training, in order to assist them to become self-sufficient, productive adults. The Jobs for Graduates program services are not new to the community. Since 1986, over 11, 000 Miami Valley youth have been served. Miami Valley Youth Career Services was designated as the Jobs for Ohio's Graduates affiliate to provide services for the greater Dayton area in August 2003.
Established in 1858, YMCA of Greater Dayton provides community services and offers exercise/fitness programs. Located in Dayton, Ohio, the organization offers several programs for youth/adults, including, swimming, gymnastics, aquatics, sports programs as well as child care. It also conducts preschool education and summer day camps. YMCA of Greater Dayton, summer day camp provides outdoor activities, swimming, sports and arts. The Day Camps offered through the YMCA of Greater Dayton are certified through the American Camping Association. The YMCA of Greater Dayton has 12 locations across the Miami Valley and serves more than 70,000 kids and families.
