YMCA Child Development Center Oklahoma CityHigh-quality childcare is a necessity for working parents. Our inclusive program provides a safe and nurturing setting for children six weeks to five years of age to learn, grow and thrive. Children are offered the opportunity to learn in a developmentally appropriate environment that caters to their social and emotional development, cognitive awareness, literacy and self-help skills.Our center features seven classrooms, each staffed with two full-time teachers and one to two part time support staff throughout the day. Our three-star center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and licensed by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.
Community Intervention Center, located in Oklahoma City, serves as a 24-hour juvenile reception and intervention hub for youth arrested in the entire Oklahoma County, Okla,. Licensed by the Office of Juvenile Affairs, it is one of the services provided by Youth Services for Oklahoma County, a nonprofit community organization that advocates, educates, intervenes and counsels troubled youth and families to make a positive difference in their lives. Youth brought to the center get a glimpse of the realities of the justice system. They are listed in the state juvenile on-line tracking system, photographed and some are fingerprinted according to the offense. Parents are notified quickly upon admittance and youth are released to their custody or that of a guardian within 24-hours.
Deep Thoughts & Wellness Preschool is a family-centered, veteran-owned childcare program located in the Spencer/Midwest City community, dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. We believe childcare should be more than supervision — it should support the whole child academically, emotionally, socially, and physically while giving parents peace of mind.
