Mercer Island Youth & Family Services, also known as MIYFS, provides coordinates and advocates human services for the community of Mercer Island. The firm offers services that include individual and family counseling, senior adult outreach, and alcohol and drug prevention and intervention. It also provides volunteering and leadership development, advocacy and community planning, family assistance and support, employment and juvenile court diversion services. Mercer Island Youth & Family Services works in partnership with the City of Mercer Island and the Mercer Island School District and receives support from private contributions and grants, fundraising and special events and revenues generated by volunteer-based thrift shop. Storytime Childcare is locally owned and understands that not every parent works 8-5. We offer flexible Full Time and Part Time hours Monday-Saturday from 6am to 10:30pm.There is a backyard playground to keep the older kids active and entertained, Arts & Crafts to stimulate their creativity as well as teach shapes and colors. We prepare and serve meals and snacks but parents are welcome to bring their own meals for those with special diets.Certified in CPR and First Aid, you can be confident your children are in good hands.
