We believe teaching strengthens Christians
In a place driven by success, speed, and constant pressure, it’s easy to look like you’re thriving on the outside… while quietly wondering if there’s more. Awakening Church is a non-denominational Christian church in San Jose helping people find true life in Jesus—right in the middle of Silicon Valley. This isn’t about religion or pretending to have it all together. It’s about discovering a faith that is honest, thoughtful, and actually makes a difference to your everyday life. Whether you’re exploring spirituality, returning to church, or looking for a deeper relationship with God, you’ll find a community where you can show up as you are and take a next step. What sets Awakening apart: Clear, compelling teaching from the Bible that connects faith to real life—work, relationships, anxiety, purpose Engaging, modern worship that creates space to encounter God A welcoming, no-pressure environment for people with questions, doubts, or no church background A strong community of young professionals, families, and college students A church that is actively serving and investing in the San Jose community We gather weekly at Del Mar High School, creating a relaxed, accessible environment with easy parking and a team ready to help you feel at home from the moment you arrive. Come as you are. You belong here
