We are a local Bible-believing, God-exalting, Christ-dependant congregation, located in the San Lorenzo Valley, just north of downtown Felton, CA. We gather on Sunday Mornings to worship the Triune God, and throughout the week for studies and prayer. We have activities and meetings for all ages, with a thriving youth group that meets on Wednesday nights.
Felton Bible Church is a multi-generational, family-oriented, community-centered church located amidst the lush coastal Redwoods of the San Lorenzo Valley, just ten minutes from Santa Cruz. We are affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America, united by a mutual commitment to serve our Lord Jesus Christ by the guidance of the Holy Spirit and obedience to the Word of God. We are committed to cooperate with one another in ministry and fellowship as we seek to fulfill the mission which Jesus Christ entrusted to His Church. The great heritage of the Evangelical Free Church people around the world includes the fact that fellowship and ministry opportunities in the local church are based solely on ones' personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, trusting in Him alone for salvation. The growing ministry of the Evangelical Free Church of America currently extends to some 40 countries of the world through the ministry of ReachGlobal. The term Evangelical refers to our commitment to the proclamation of the Gospel and to the authority of Scriptures as being inerrant in the original autographs and the only safe and sufficient guide to faith and practice. The term Free refers to our form of church government as being congregational. Evangelical Free Churches depend upon the active participation of lay people in the decisions and directions.
We are a parish of the Metropolis of San Francisco under the omophorion of His Eminence Metropolitan Gerasimos of San Francisco. Nestled among the redwoods in the midst of the Santa Cruz Mountains, in a little town called Felton, is a large, beautiful, and sturdy redwood building that is the spiritual home of a sizable community of Orthodox Christian believers. Adjacent to the church parish school. In the church complex, and in the homes and lives of the parishioners, the kingdom of heaven is experienced on earth.
We are an inclusive church community, rooted in faith and seeking both justice and mercy in our community.
