Transitional Living Program: Providing a structured, safe and supportive environment, where men struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, after completion of a rehabilitation program, can continue their recovery toward independent living. Tutoring & Mentoring: Tutoring Elementary age students in the Santa Rosa School District. Providing 1-to-1 help in academic to students in at-risk areas. Double Punches Boxing Club: Olympic-style amateur boxing club where students learn offensive and defensive boxing skills, mental focus, and discipline. A proven and effective anti-gang program. Troops: A Christian based scouting/character building program for boys and girls that gives children a hands-on approach to learning life skills, while earning emblems as they progress.
Established in 1963, Redwood Gospel Mission is an organization that offers support and care services to homeless and poor individuals. It serves people who suffer from addiction-related problems and serves the residents of Santa Rosa and Sonoma counties in California. The organization features a drug and alcohol recovery program that offers addiction counseling and life skills education services, as well as conducts academic and anger management classes. Redwood Gospel Mission also provides a jobs development program that assists individuals with resume preparation and job referral and placement. In addition, it features an online section that offers spiritual knowledge for people. Located in Santa Rosa, Calif., the organization is a member of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions.
