The Marcus Pointe Baptist Church is a lively and active Baptist church in Pensacola. The church is home to a congregation that is vibrant, and very actively engaged in church activities and community outreach. Apart from regular services, the church also organizes a host of social gatherings and cultural events to foster a sense of community within its congregation, and capture the interest of its younger members. Music lies at the heart of every service, with weekly performances by the church band, choir and orchestra. Services are focussed upon the worship and exhalation of God through a contemporary blend of mediums including music, art, testimonials and inspiring sermons based on the Bible. Newcomers are given a warm welcome and encouraged to attend the monthly Starting Pointe Class which offers an introduction to the church and its various activities. Newcomers may also join the NEXT class to help determine which ministries would be best suited to their individual talents and preferences. Religious instruction is offered to members of all age groups in an environment that is respectful, nurturing and kind.
