Ascent Church is a Gospel-centered, Bible-teaching, mission-focused church composed of people from every walk of life. Everything we do is grounded in the truth of the Bible and centered on the person of Jesus Christ. We unapologetically preach and teach the whole counsel of God's Word, even as it offends and contradicts the culture in which we live. This is what Jesus did in His day and is exactly what the world needs in our day. We are a church family made up of people from all kinds of different backgrounds from across multiple generations. We believe that worship is more about focusing on God than a style of music. Because no one type of music facilitates worship for everyone, we use a blended style of worship. On a typical Sunday, we might sing a hymn or two, but we'll also sing some more modern worship songs. Both of our worship services are identical in style and we would love to have you join us for either one at 9:00 AM or at 10:30 AM.

Several times a year we offer a time to become a member or affiliate member during which the minister and Elders are available to answer any questions you may have about Peace Church, being a Presbyterian, or membership.
Christian counseling is available. Pastor Jim Harp has a Master's of Counseling Degree from Luther Rice College and Seminary and has been counseling individuals and couples for over 32 years. He is also a licensed pharmacist.
